Hotel Casa Mexicana

Beautiful building with exceptional service. The garden is well manicured, peaceful, and tranquil. We were given delicious pastries with a coffees and beer. I can't recommend this place enough, the staff went out of their way to make it a most enjoyable time.

I have been going to Pozos since the year 2000 when I used to live in the nearby town of San Miguel. I have seen the town of Pozos grow and it is a beautiful quaint village. If you’re looking for something off the beaten path that is quiet, relaxing and a wonderful taste of Mexico!. We stayed at this hotel recently with family. We really loved the fact it was a private place and felt very special being here because they really catered to our group If had to describe this hotel, it would be vintage and classic Mexico. It is not trendy or modern. Instead…It is warm, and a bit rustic in an artistic and beautiful way. I love the exposed brick throughout! Ahhh Each room is decorated beautifully, our room had a tree growing through it absolutely sensational. Wow just wow Our room had a huge bathtub. If I would’ve brought some bubble bath liquid, I would have soaked in the tub all afternoon. Lol. They have a small restaurant in the main building that we had dinner. We were serve breakfast the next day on the veranda patio. I must say the breakfast was the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. Seriously!!! We were given a basket of fresh baked croissants. I am a bakery aficionado, and I must tell you these were the best croissants I’ve ever had not only in my life, but even better than the ones we had when we were in Europe. I asked the owner where they got them from and she mentioned they were baked fresh that morning from a lady across the street at a local bakery. They only make them fresh in the morning and they only make a few at a time so if you were interested in tasting these Gems, please get them or put a special order in. You won’t be disappointed. This hotel offers a beautiful garden and even a rooftop area As a professional photographer I had a wonderful afternoon, photographing the flowers and architecture of the beautiful building! It is located centrally and the staff is amazing. We spoke with the owners and they were lovely people who offered a lot of fun, suggestions and things to do such as going to the mines and lavender field just down the road. The hotel also offers a small bar area, indoor dining area and lounge. Very complete and very comfortable. I feel you get a lot for your money here in Pozos and at this hotel. If you were coming to this town, I would highly recommend staying here at this beautiful hotel. It is a beautiful representation of old world Mexico. The bed was very comfortable. Our room was huge and the bathroom was extra spacious. Everything was very clean on the entire property and the staff was amazing and really took care of us. Thank you all for your kindness, consideration expertise, and TLC. I would highly recommend you to all of my friends and family coming through your area and we look forward to coming back soon. A beautiful centric and comfortable place with excellent service. Breakfast is included prepared at moment in scheduled time . Definitely I'll return this year.
